Tributes

From Rob Gilley

The first time I met Chris was our very first Red team training day. I listened to his presentation on bias and knew we had a man with passion and a brilliant mind for medicine. It’s a tragedy that we will never get to see where that would have taken him.
There was something very special about you Chris, an energy that you can’t help but admire, humour, intellect and a beard that was never coming off. You’ve inspired me to not just be good, but to be great at this job. I’m going to miss those conversations we used to have, sharing knowledge and humour. You were a one off, irreplaceable in every way. Stand down and sleep well. Til we can meet again NW41.

From Simon Williams
