Message from TASC Chair

Dear All,

I am writing to let you know that we at The Ambulance Staff Charity appreciate and are so grateful for the time and commitment you give freely to support our ambulance colleagues, their friends and families.

We are extremely thankful for your dedication and commitment to TASC throughout the whole year.  However, Volunteers’ Week provides us with the opportunity to celebrate our volunteers’ achievements, recognise your hard work and thank you for the time that you give so generously.

The effects of the pandemic have clearly taken their toll and we therefore wanted to make this year the best Volunteers’ Week ever.   TASC has partnered with businesses and organisations around the UK to bring some fantastic events and activities for our Volunteers to enjoy, with our focus being on relaxation and wellbeing. There may be a few places left, so please email volunteering@theasc.org.uk for more details.

We have nearly 350 Volunteers who support TASC in two main areas, supporting ambulance staff and fundraising. The majority of our Volunteers are serving ambulance staff, and despite a phenomenally challenging year volunteering support has not only continued but increased massively by more than 40% on the previous year.

The Board of Trustees and myself are very proud of our great band of Volunteers who work tirelessly to support those in their time of need, and we want you to know how much your work is greatly appreciated.

We hope that you are soon able to take a break from work and enjoy valuable time with your friends and family.

Once again THANK YOU for all you do on behalf of TASC.

Best wishes

Diane
