We are delighted to announce that the CSIS Charity Fund, an independent charity dedicated to helping civil and public servants and their families get through tough periods in their life, has made a generous £20,000 donation to support TASC’s work.

The money will help support current and retired ambulance staff, their families, and ambulance service volunteers who are suffering a level of distress, ill health or injury that is impacting on their work or home life.

At TASC we are passionate about caring for those who care for us. We provide support and advice to help ensure the UK’s lifesaving ambulance community is strong, healthy and ready to be there for us when we need them. Since our inception in 2015, we have seen a five-fold increase in the number of people seeking our support; in October 2018 we reached our 1,000th case milestone and by October 2019 we had helped a further 1100 people –  the growing demand for our work cannot be overstated.

Jasmin Rana, TASC’s Head of Income Generation, said:

“We are extremely grateful to the CSIS Charity fund for their generous donation.  At these very challenging times, support from trusts, organisations and the general public has never been so important for our charity to ensure that the ambulance community and their families can continue to access our vital services when they’re in difficulty or urgent need.”

If you would like to get involved or support the work we do by you can do this by making a donation or texting AMBULANCE to 70085 to donate £3 (plus a standard message rate).
