Tributes

From Lorna Stuart and Sue Tugwell

Adrian started his service in Surrey Ambulance Service working most of his paramedic life at Knaphill Ambulance station. The latter part of his career was worked at Chertsey, firstly as an Assistant Locality Manager, then a Locality Manger during the Surrey Ambulance days. When Surrey merged with Sussex and Kent and became South East Coast, he became a Clinical Operations Manager then an Operations Manager.

Adrian had a great rapport with the staff who in turn respected him as their manager.

Even as a Manager, he continued to respond on an ambulance when he got the opportunity.

He would always volunteer for larger incidents to support the staff and for the welfare of the patients. He had a dry sense of humour which he often used to lighten the day.

And had endless stories about past jobs, which would always have everyone in stitches.
