I worked with Tom at Livingston he was a character at first and until you got to know him he was quiet. I had a motorbike at one time and Tom, or Tam as he was called, but didn’t like it, anyway, one night whilst on night shift, Tom was reading the local paper and he saw a Honda 90 in it. He called the man up at 3am to enquire and the seller was so mad, so Tom said, “Your advert says call anytime”, so he put the phone down down and then Tom said I don’t think he wants to sell this to me.
Yes Tom was one of the old school and it was great to have worked with him.
