John was my crew mate & unofficial mentor in my early years as a technician and Paramedic in Gildersome. He taught me so much, not just about the Service, but about life in general. Even when he moved to New Zealand and then back to Cornwall years later, we stayed in touch and I visited John and his wife Margaret on many occasions with my young family. since his passing I remain friends with Margaret. John was an true gentleman. RIP John and thank you.
