Gordon was one of the first members of the NHS staff to contract coronavirus whilst carrying out their duties. Gordon’s service spanned 42 years during which time he was a paramedic, senior staff representative and manager. Although he had several roles during his career he remained the same person throughout and always put people first. He was a loyal friend and colleague to me for over 30 years and possessed a great sense of humour with a little pinch of rebellion thrown in for good measure.
Those lucky enough to have known him will not forget him.
