To Dad, you worked so many years as a paramedic and you’ve become my inspiration to keep pushing forward with my nursing degree, I hope to be just like you and mum one day. Your co-workers all spoke so highly of you at your funeral and a guard of honour turned out to remember you. I wish you were still with us and could be here to guide me forward and teach me all that you knew. Your years of service meant so much to the community and my classmates’ siblings still remember when you treated them. Your family and your friends will always miss you and we’ll never forget you. I hope you have found peace now and one day we’ll meet again.
