Tributes
From Cath John
Adrian was not only an incredible colleague but he was also a true friend, his dedication, and unwavering commitment has left such a void within our team. In times of challenge, Adrian would show resilience, in moments of uncertainty, he was a steady guide. Beyond his skill and hard work, Adrian brought warmth and laughter. Adrian had a genuine kindness and qualities that turned a workplace into a community. Swansea Locality will never be the same without him. Sleep tight my friend. xx

Wow, what a legend. There are so many words, phrases, anecdotes to remember this remarkable man who has left a huge void and hole in the Swansea family, in the ambulance services. If you knew Adrian you would smile just at the mention of his name, the jokes and pranks he played, known by many names but what a true gentleman, he would go out of his way to help you, he may make fun of you but it was perfect fun and he made you feel immediately part of the team and at ease, starting out in an incredibly, amazing, tightnit family that is Swansea can be daunting, but no when you have characters and staff including the like of Adrian you are immediately part of that family., made to feel safe, valued and a sense of belonging, and that shines across all localities and stations.
I will also remember Adrian fondly, and smile at the mention of his name, i have been privileged to work with you, for you, alongside you for nearly 30 years and it was always a different shift but a fantastic experience that has been a huge part of my experience, growing, learning, and adapting. You will always be a legend, you have left such a legacy of “mates” behind who continue to honour you and any trip to Turkey will not be without raising a glass of something to you.
Sending love, light and strength to all your family, friends and colleagues, you did not deserve to not be living your best life, but it will be honoured and remembered , your body may have gone, but the stories, the memories, the photos will live on forever. X

Adrian was a remarkable man and paramedic. He was one of the first to welcome me to the locality and offered me a tremendous amount of support throughout the years. I’ll never forget his kindness and the example he set, which will live on in the locality as we honour his memory. Thanks for everything mate.

Adrian was a friend, colleague, mentor and hero to me. Adrian was one of the reasons I became a Paramedic and I had known Adrian all of my life. It was an honour to call Adrian a friend and I would not be the Paramedic I am today without Adrian. He taught me a huge amount, supported and guided me through all aspects of my career and in my personal life. Adrian was one of the proudest, most competent paramedics I have ever met. Adrian was one of the most charismatic and funniest people I had met.
He was also probably the most wicked too. I was privileged to have known Adrian and privileged that he made such a mark on my life. He is a massive loss to the ambulance service, the paramedic profession and to me personally. Not a day goes by where I do not think of Adrian and I miss him terribly. Thank you for everything.
Rest easy.
