Every number in our 2025/26 Impact Report represents a person, a family, a colleague, or a life changed through support, compassion and community. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, partners and fundraisers, TASC has continued to stand beside the ambulance community when it has been needed most.
Over the past year, 1,500 clients accessed mental health support through TASC, with 170 trauma therapy interventions provided and 218 structured specialist interventions delivered for those experiencing suicidal ideation through our Ambulance Staff Crisis Line. We were proud to launch a new Sexual Safety Support Service for ambulance staff and student paramedics, while also becoming a Community Money Advice (CMA) Connect Centre to strengthen the financial wellbeing support available to our community.
The impact of your support goes far beyond the numbers. Our welfare services secured £195,000 in ongoing benefits for clients in 2025/26, alongside £40,000 in benefit arrears, with clients receiving an average increase of £571 in monthly income. We also provided financial information and signposting to 968 clients, helping people navigate difficult times with confidence and support.
This year also saw 350 people come together at the annual Ambulance Memorial Service to remember and honour colleagues who are no longer with us. Across our channels, we shared six podcasts highlighting important conversations affecting the ambulance community, while our new Gratitude Page received messages of thanks celebrating the dedication of ambulance staff and volunteers.
Behind every statistic is a story. Stories of recovery, hope, resilience and people feeling less alone. One client shared:
“TASC’s support was wonderful, I don’t want to think where I would be right now if they weren’t there.”
Another said:
“The support was great. I’ve been referred to other services before but with TASC I had the security of knowing someone was there when I needed it. Thank you to everyone at TASC.”
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our fundraisers, donors, partners, volunteers and everyone who champions TASC throughout the year. Together, we are forging a world where no one in the ambulance community is ever left to struggle alone.
