As part of our drive to make our services more accessible to the ambulance community TASC, The Ambulance Staff Charity, has recently launched an online telephone booking system.

As part of the new system, members of the ambulance community can now book phone calls with TASC’s Support Team 24 hours a day – at a time that is convenient for them.

Angie Crashley, TASC Support Services Manager said:

”Between everyday life, long work hours and changing shift patterns, it can be difficult for people to find time to contact our helpline during our office hours. Up until now, the only option has been to leave a message. But we know that it can be a real comfort to know when you will be speaking to someone, and with our new system, people can book a call with our team 24 hours – at a time that works for them. The booking can be made at any time; whether they’re in-between callouts at 2am, waiting to pick their kids up from school, or just sitting in front of the TV at home.
We’re very proud to launch this new system, which allows us to make our services more accessible, while keeping the individual in complete control of their support. Like our other recent service developments, TASC has taken another positive step as we strive to offer more support to our ambulance community and improve their quality of life so that they can continue doing the job they love.”

TASC’s new booking system – where the ambulance community can now book phone calls with TASC’s Support Team 24 hours a day – is available to any current or retired ambulance staff (NHS and independent) as well as their partners, children and parents.
