Gina and Neil attended to my cousin last week with second degree burns from a burst hot water bottle and took her to Lewisham Hospital. Their kindness, discretion and knowledge was everything she needed to feel she was in safe hands. From the most they arrived I could hand over care and be there for her without having to advocate for her, as they just understood. Thank you both for your empathy, your humour and the extraordinary work that you do. Having you check up on my cousin and myself several more times in resuscitation that night as you brought in more patients in, truly meant the world. You deserve all the gratitude and recognition- you’re making the world a better place. Thank you, Liv x

A thank you to Steve Worsley and Rhoda MacKenzie. I wish to express my gratitude for the professional and respectful care given to me by the Ullapool ambulance crew who treated me and transported me to Inverness on the night of 18th July 2026.
I felt safe and relaxed in their hands, not only because of the morphine, but due to the fact both Steve and Rhoda showed organised teamwork in their assessment of the situation, kindness and thoughtfulness in their actions, Many thanks for your experienced driving and knowledgable care and guidance throughout transportation and handover to staff at Raigmore Hospital.

I don't have the words to say thank you to paramedic Ben who attended as first responder within what must have been one or two minutes from my call to my unresponsive 5 day old son a few months ago. You were absolutely incredible with both me and him, your calmness in the scariest moment of my life felt like you took the weight off my shoulders and supported it yourself so I wasn't alone. Thanks to you, he got the help he needed and is now the happiest little boy and thriving. I really can't ever thank you enough.

Who were on the 11-11 shift last night, the 10th July 2026 and attended my 90 year old mum, Margie who had had a terrible fall at my house in Taverham, Norwich. You were here within about 15 minutes and were so bloody good with her, and us! Thank you so much for all you did last night and no doubt what you do every night. Bless you both 💜💜

I cannot thank enough the Ambulance Staff in Aberdeen for all they did in the care of my Mother Gertrude Fiddes on numerous occassions. Your compassion, care & even humour at times was amazing.
The team that arrived on my call in April was beyond amazing & I thank you all. My Mum was always treated with care & dignity.
We did mention this care throughout at her service but this cannot ever reflect how much respect we as a family have for the amazing job you all do.
So much respect for you all. You are the backbone of the NHS.

It was February 8th 2024 my Partner had a CA at home, I feel ashamed that it has taken so long to say thank you to the crews that attended that day, we went to Torbay A& E, Dave survived but is now after a very long road in a wonderful Nursing Home being cared for , he will never be the man he was before but As a family we are so grateful to still have him and that is due to the wonderful work you all do, I’m ashamed it’s taken me so long to acknowledge this for that I apologise, some one who attended that day may get to see this I hope so, thank you again for giving me back my loved one, you do a truly wonderful job.

We all end up where we are for a reason. But you ended up being under paid and saving lives.
Unfortunately i can do nothing about this.
As an individual you have done more for me than you will know, adding that to all the other people you have helped.
I have never saved a life, i know nothing about it. What i do know is you are under counting in the lives you have saved. Contact, acknowledgement, being there, being you, saves lives. It saved me,
I am still broken, alone, disabled blah blah blah, but i wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the amazing empathy of the ambulance team, you dont just save lives when you bring out the machines and drugs, your relationship helps people fight one day more. And sometimes that one day more is enough, so that person can live long enough to help others.
Please keep fighting for better rights and more pay, but know no matter what, the people you really helped, have your back!!

Ambulance Crew and 999 Call Handler
Thank you to ambulance crew for helping wife who had given birth in our car on the way to the hospital on 26 January in Sheffield, around 18.40 at Kilner Way, Sheffield (near the JD Gym). I hope my message will reach them, as we owe them everything.
Also, Thank you to the 999 call handler - who I, the husband, ringed in sheer panic and shock to tell the situation. I want to thank them for their professionalism, their support and patience with a man who was going through hell. I had never been in more distress in my life, and I just hope I wasn't rude in requesting an ambulance. I remember asking for one, saying JESUS CHRIST 45x in a row, and asking where the ambulance was quite a lot - please do forgive me if I came across rude. I do not remember being rude, but I just wanted to say I owe you so much.
My wife and baby are home, safe and sound. I can't thank you enough. It really does mean the world, having them here next to me - and our 2yo toddler.
We, as I said, owe you one.

Thank you both for the care, calm, and compassion you showed my mum during such a terrifying moment. The way you handled everything with such professionalism and warmth meant more than words can say. You didn’t just do your job, you brought reassurance, humanity, and genuine kindness when our family needed it most.
Team C in Newham is incredibly lucky to have you. What you did that day has stayed with me deeply and truly inspired me to want to pursue the paramedic route myself. I will be sure to book that observation shift.

I work for EEAST in emergency operations as a paramedic. I joined the ambulance service in 2003. In February 2020, I was struggling with hip and back pain. This was causing me to walk with a limp. I could not continue my career like this.
TASC arranged for myself to attend a two week stay at a treatment centre in Yorkshire. During this stay I had intensive physio’, a whole program of activities and the use of a pool.
It was two weeks of concentrating on my physical and mental wellbeing. This year I am embarking on a challenge unlike anything I have attempted before.
So, to TASC I just wanted to say thank you, this support helped me carry on my career and hopefully by doing this challenge I can raise some well needed funds to support a great charity.

It is my pleasure to support the work of an amazing group of dedicated caring people. My husband was taken to Weston General Hospital in early April by a lovely team. In May we had 4 ambulances in our short road, with many busy paramedics. I even got my first ride in an ambulance; I am over 70.
Last week it was my turn, I got another ride in an ambulance, nothing fatal, but again a lovely team to look after me. I think that is a very good reason to support these wonderful people
