TASC to provide innovative online mental and physical wellbeing support
TASC, The Ambulance Staff Charity, has expanded its mental health support offering by creating a new partnership with Rightsteps.
The evidence based online wellbeing support, hosted by Rightsteps, will assist a wide range of mind, body and behaviour topics including mental health and wellbeing.
Karl Demian, Chief Operating Officer at TASC commented:
“Over the last few years, we’ve seen unprecedented growth in demand for our services and a need for providing accessible support for the UK’s ambulance staff. With our new partnership with Rightsteps, we are proud to now offer the ambulance community on-line advice, information and guidance 24 hours a day to help them improve their quality of life and continue doing the job they love.”
Julie Bass, Group Managing Director of Turning Point added:
“We are honoured that The Ambulance Staff Charity has selected Rightsteps, part of the Turning Point group, to support the health and wellbeing of current and past ambulance staff and their families across the country.”
The wellbeing platform provides preventative mental and physical wellbeing support, focussing on psycho-education support to develop self-awareness and self-management in relation to mental health and wellbeing. The support will be available to ambulance service workers on-demand, providing evidence-based interventions which help colleagues develop personal resilience and self-management techniques to improve wellbeing.
