Ambulance Services Bereavement Fund
The Ambulance Services Bereavement Fund (ASBF) was created by the Trustees of TASC in March 2015 and takes forward the support for bereaved Ambulance Services families provided by its predecessor, the the Ambulance Services Benevolent Fund (ASBF) which was founded in 1986.
The aim of this dedicated bereavement fund is to help ease the additional pressures family members face when a member of the Ambulance Services has been killed on duty.
When a loved one dies, TASC will also consider an ASBF Bereavement Grant which can help to relieve the immediate financial pressures that may arise.
Financial grants may be awarded to;
- Widows/ widowers whose spouse or partner worked for the Ambulance Services or, in certain circumstances, retired from the Ambulance Services
- Children or dependents who have lost a parent who worked for Ambulance Services or, in certain circumstances, retired from the Ambulance Services
ASBF Bereavement Grants are made by application and at the discretion of the Trustees.

Make a donation to the ASBF
You can make a donation to the Bereavement Fund to support the families of ambulance services personnel who have been killed or died whilst on active duty and for TASC via our Make a Donation page.
